Community Manager Internship (M/F) – Lausanne

About the role

Askalon Industries, a Lausanne-based startup developing AI-driven acoustic surveillance solutions for drones, is looking for its first Community Manager intern. The internship lasts 6 months, starts as soon as possible and leads to a permanent position. The main working language is French.

Key responsibilities

• Social media: run the company's presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms where security professionals spend their time.
• Website: keep the site up to date, publish news and case studies, and give it a professional look.
• Content creation: shoot photos and videos in the field, including footage of drones and product demonstrations.
• Video editing: turn the footage into short, punchy videos such as demo reels, social clips, event recaps and behind-the-scenes content.
• Campaigns: help build and run marketing campaigns with the Head of Sales, covering trade shows, product launches, email and LinkedIn outreach.

Required profile

• A passion for storytelling and for creating content that matters.
• Comfortable working in the field, from airfields to industrial perimeters.
• Equally at home behind a camera and in editing software as writing a LinkedIn post.
• English better than French; French is the main working language.
• Not overly serious about oneself, but serious about engagement, reach and leads.

• Video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve
• Social media management
