About the role

Rieter, a global supplier of systems for processing fibers into yarns and nonwovens, is looking for a Components and Technology Controller (f/m/d) in Winterthur. As part of the Components & Technology Controlling team, you will support monthly and annual financial and controlling reports, budgeting and forecasting, performance monitoring and process improvement, working closely with business units and finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and controlling reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Perform variance analyses and explain deviations from budget and forecast.
• Monitor financial performance and support Business Unit Heads and Business Unit CFOs with insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to controlling tools, dashboards and reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing with Accounting and finance stakeholders.
• Prepare documentation for audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Collaborate with Business Unit CFOs, Group Controlling, Tax, Treasury and Reporting teams.
• Take part in process improvement initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and financial transparency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in controlling, FP&A, finance, accounting or a similar role.
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset and effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Good understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Experience with variance analysis, financial modelling and performance management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP and BI/reporting tools are an advantage.
