About the role

We are looking for a Junior Railway Works Conductor to join our dynamic team at the Saint-Légier (VD) branch. The role involves planning, organizing and monitoring railway construction projects across multiple sites while ensuring contractual compliance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and follow up on railway construction sites on various locations.
• Manage contractual aspects, monitor offers and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Work collaboratively with the team and build trust with stakeholders.
• Oversee safety monitoring on all assigned sites.
• Participate in meetings with representatives from different parties.

Required profile

• Holder of the Federal foreman/works conductor certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of experience in a similar railway construction role.
• Excellent knowledge of metric and standard gauge tracks and the Swiss railway network.
• Valid driver’s licence; possession of an APT CFF is a plus.
• Ability to manage stress and enforce strict safety rules.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Required skills
