About the role
The Consolidation Specialist will own end‑to‑end consolidation workstreams, reporting directly to the Head of Consolidation. You will sit at the centre of the finance organisation, linking local finance teams, group functions and external auditors, and contribute to the Group’s published financial numbers.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain and execute monthly consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, P&L, cash flow and equity statements.
- Execute consolidation adjustments, intercompany calculations and transfer‑pricing reconciliations.
- Run periodical reviews of local reporting packages in Tagetik and support impairment testing (IAS 36) and disclosures.
- Develop, test and maintain consolidated reports in Tagetik and design internal controls over financial reporting.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and act as a reference point for local finance teams on consolidation matters.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
- At least three years of technical accounting and financial reporting experience, preferably in a multinational group or audit/consultancy firm.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and consolidation techniques.
- Professional‑level English, both written and spoken.
- Practical fluency with AI tools such as Claude, using them to accelerate reporting while exercising critical judgment.
Required skills
- IFRS reporting standards.
- Tagetik (or comparable consolidation system).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, large data sets).
- Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
- AI‑assisted reporting tools (e.g., Claude).
