Construction Manager – Data Centre (MEP focus)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, site‑based Construction Manager with a strong MEP background to lead the delivery of a major data centre construction project in Switzerland. The role involves managing general contractors and specialist subcontractors to ensure safe, high‑quality delivery aligned with programme objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day construction activities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and related building services.
• Directly oversee general contractors and specialist subcontractors, monitoring safety, quality, programme and risk.
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors and project stakeholders for efficient delivery.
• Monitor commissioning activities, change control and data‑hall fit‑out scope.
• Identify and resolve site issues, programme delays and construction risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on hyperscale or colocation data centre projects.
• Strong MEP construction background covering mechanical, electrical, plumbing or associated services.
• Demonstrable experience managing general contractors and specialist subcontractors on site.
• Must hold Swiss right to work (EU citizenship or valid Swiss Permit B or C).
