Construction Manager – Data Centre Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a major data centre project in Zurich, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for day‑to‑day site delivery, managing general contractors and specialist subcontractors across a multidisciplinary MEP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site construction activities and delivery.
• Directly manage general contractors and specialist subcontractors.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary MEP construction works.
• Monitor programme, progress, quality, safety and risk.
• Coordinate with client, design teams, vendors and commissioning teams.
• Manage commissioning, snagging and final handover.
• Oversee change control and data hall fit‑out activities.
• Drive project delivery through to completion.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on major data centre projects.
• Strong MEP construction background.
• Experience delivering hyperscale or colocation data centres.
• Demonstrable experience managing general contractors and specialist subcontractors.
• Full lifecycle experience from construction through commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality, programme and risk management.
• Knowledge of commissioning processes, change control and vendor coordination.
• Swiss right‑to‑work.
