Construction Manager – On‑site (Basel‑Stadt)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on‑site activities for an industrial construction project in the Basel‑Stadt area. The role starts immediately (within 1–4 weeks) and will run for an initial six‑month period, with the possibility of extension up to five years.

Key responsibilities

• Direct hands‑on management of construction works on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities to ensure quality and schedule compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management and Engineering teams.
• Monitor execution, resolve issues promptly, and maintain compliance with GMP or pharma standards when applicable.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager or Bauleiter on industrial projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Pragmatic, hands‑on mindset with the capacity to start on short notice.
• Fluent German (mandatory) and working level English.

Required skills

• Construction management in industrial settings.
• Subcontractor coordination.
• Knowledge of building services (TGA) – advantageous.
• Familiarity with pharma/GMP environments – a plus.
