Construction Methods Engineer

About the role

Join SBM Offshore as a Construction Methods Engineer and play a key part in delivering innovative deepwater offshore solutions. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing construction methods, standards, and best practices to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety throughout project lifecycles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver construction methodologies tailored to project requirements, materials, site conditions, and schedules.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges using constructability principles.
• Provide technical expertise on construction techniques to project and site teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Maintain comprehensive records of methods, changes, outcomes, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to department improvement programs through analyses, workshops, reporting, and standards development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with construction techniques, materials, and HSSE regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
