Consultant – Qualitative Market Research & Competitive Intelligence (Part‑Time)

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a part‑time Consultant to join its Primary Market Research Team in Switzerland. The role combines qualitative market research with competitive intelligence for pharmaceutical clients across the DACH region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end qualitative market research and competitive intelligence projects for pharma clients.
• Translate client business questions into research approaches and structured project plans.
• Conduct primary interviews with physicians and healthcare professionals in German and, where appropriate, French.
• Complement primary research with targeted secondary desk analysis.
• Analyze and synthesize market, competitor and stakeholder evidence to generate actionable insights.
• Prepare high‑quality reports and presentations and deliver findings to client stakeholders.
• Own project timelines, deliverables and day‑to‑day client interactions across the full lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in life sciences or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare consulting, market research or competitive intelligence.
• Business‑fluent German and English; conversational French is an asset.
• Strong analytical ability to synthesize complex evidence into business‑relevant insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a client‑oriented approach.
• Effective project and time‑management skills, capable of handling multiple parallel engagements.
