Consultant - VAT, Customs (Indirect Tax) Advisory & Transformation

About the role

EY is hiring a consultant for its Indirect Tax Team in Geneva (Grand-Lancy) to advise clients on VAT, customs duties and other indirect taxes. The role sits in a dynamic, interdisciplinary and multicultural team and involves national and international mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in prestigious national and international mandates in indirect taxation (VAT, customs duties and other indirect taxes)
• Work in multidisciplinary teams with experts from different sectors to develop innovative solutions for complex business and tax issues
• Build technical skills through continuous in-house training and support for the training of qualified tax experts

Required profile

• A recognized diploma in economics and/or law (having both is an asset) or equivalent (master's, LLM or similar)
• Strong interest in Swiss and international taxation, especially VAT and customs duties; first experience or an internship in tax or tax technology is an asset
• Excellent English and French; German is an advantage
• Analytical, agile and growth-oriented, with curiosity and an inclusive approach

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation workflows
