Corporate Controller Operations

About the role

The Corporate Controller Operations acts as a key finance partner for International Operations, overseeing cost of goods sold (COGS) and investment controlling across the Lindt & Sprüngli Group. The role provides analytical insight, risk assessment, and strategic guidance to group management and subsidiary leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Assess investment requests from subsidiaries, evaluate financial and risk aspects, and present recommendations to Group Management.
• Partner with operation teams (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, IT, Sustainability) and subsidiary finance teams to monitor performance, identify deviations, and support planning cycles.
• Lead COGS and ICP forecasting, manage the general planning cycle at group level, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and analyse Manufacturing P&L, production key figures, and distribution expenses for monthly and year‑end closings.
• Maintain the standardized S4FARI operations template and support finance streams in group and regional projects.
• Co‑lead cost‑saving initiatives, benchmark COGP across subsidiaries, and drive conversion‑cost reduction projects.
• Own content for finance manual chapters related to manufacturing, COGS, and distribution expenses, including Tagetik forms.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and influencing abilities with a finance or controlling background.
• Experience in investment controlling, cost analysis, and performance management.
• Ability to work with senior leaders across multiple subsidiaries and functions.
• Ambitious, internationally mobile, and comfortable with high‑visibility exposure.
