Corporate & M&A Lawyer – Real Estate (Geneva)

About the role

Join EY’s Europe West Law team in Geneva, providing corporate, M&A and real‑estate legal advice to domestic and international clients. You will work on complex transactions and support the growing real‑estate practice.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on corporate and M&A transactions and commercial law matters.
• Support real‑estate projects including acquisitions, joint ventures, leases and regulatory issues.
• Lead corporate restructuring initiatives at national and international levels.
• Conduct legal due diligence, negotiate contracts and prepare transaction documentation.
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements such as share purchase, financing and joint‑venture contracts.
• Monitor legislative developments in corporate, real‑estate and commercial law and advise on compliance.
• Collaborate with other practice areas including Employment Law, Private Clients and Intellectual Property.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law and admission to the bar; LL.M. is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a law firm, consultancy or in‑house legal department (or strong motivation to learn).
• Interest or experience in real‑estate matters and legal technology/AI solutions.
• Strong project‑management skills and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication in French and English; German is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating share purchase, asset purchase, financing, shareholders’ and joint‑venture agreements.
• Ability to conduct legal due diligence and analyze legislative changes.
