Corporate Project Controller

About the role

Bühler is looking for a Corporate Project Controller to join its Corporate Project Controlling team. You will help ensure reliable financial reporting for customer projects across the Bühler Group by collecting, validating, analyzing and reporting project financial data, supporting month-end closing and creating transparency on project performance. You will work closely with finance, project and IT stakeholders worldwide and take ownership of selected initiatives to improve controlling processes, tools and data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly and management reporting on customer project performance and contribute to accurate month-end closing
• Collect, prepare, validate and analyze financial data from SAP ERP, SAP Business Warehouse/Business Data Cloud and other sources
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, actual turnover and gross results, identify trends, risks and opportunities and communicate your findings
• Create reports, dashboards, templates and management presentations, and support Project Controllers and Project Managers globally
• Lead selected improvement initiatives to standardize, automate and enhance project-controlling processes, tools, guidelines and data quality

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, plus experience in project controlling, project management or project commercial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative style in an international environment
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to use it responsibly to improve analysis, reporting, data quality and efficiency
• Fluent written and spoken English, able to prepare, analyze and present data for reporting and management communication

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO; experience with SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects reporting and dashboards is an advantage
