Corporate Real Estate Manager

About the role

The Corporate Real Estate Manager will lead key real‑estate initiatives and projects in Zurich while supporting Avaloq’s global corporate real‑estate strategy. The role combines project delivery, lease management, financial control and stakeholder engagement to optimise the company’s property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of real‑estate, workplace and portfolio projects such as office expansions, relocations and refurbishments.
• Manage the full project lifecycle including business case development, procurement, governance, delivery and post‑project review.
• Negotiate leases, renewals and rent reviews while maintaining landlord relationships.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking for real‑estate initiatives.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, landlords, consultants and contractors to ensure successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate real estate, portfolio management or workplace transformation.
• Proven ability to lead complex international real‑estate programmes and manage governance, financial reporting and risk.
• Fluency in German and English; additional French or Italian is a plus.
