Customer Training Trainer

About the role

Rieter, a global supplier of systems for processing fibers into yarn and nonwovens, is looking for a Trainer for Customer Training in its After Sales function in Winterthur, Switzerland. The role takes responsibility for customer training and involves delivering training on products, processes and technologies, while travelling internationally about 40-50% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, organise and deliver engaging customer training programmes for products, processes and technologies.
• Prepare training content for new products and run internal training for the Service and Technology teams according to the annual training calendar.
• Keep up with new products, technologies and solutions and obtain certification in them.
• Support customers with professional, tailored training experiences.
• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales and Customer Support.
• Create post-training reports, evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Design, develop and maintain training materials, including e-learning modules, webinars and instructional videos.
• Keep content up to date with product developments.
• Travel internationally (about 40-50%) to deliver customer training.

Required profile

• Mandatory prior experience in the textile spinning industry, with hands-on exposure to spinning operations and processes.
• Proven technical understanding and process expertise.
• Strong passion for training, coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt content to different knowledge levels.
• Experience designing and developing training materials; advanced IT skills and a high affinity for digital technologies.
• Highly desirable: experience with online learning systems, e-learning content creation, video recording and virtual training platforms.
• Willingness to travel worldwide up to 40-50%.
