Data Engineer

About the role

Tradition, a leading inter‑dealer broker, is looking for a Data Engineer to join its Lausanne office. You will help translate business concepts into scalable data products and ensure the reliability of the data platform supporting critical financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build reusable, well‑documented data models and transformation pipelines.
• Maintain data quality, consistency, and modelling best practices.
• Own and continuously improve monitoring, observability, and alerting for the data platform.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, resolve production incidents, and support a growing user base.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement long‑term solutions and keep critical data services highly available.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Proven track record supporting production data pipelines and analytical models.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent English communication skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
