Data Engineering Consultant

About the role

D ONE, a premium consultancy specialized in data, AI, and transformation, is looking for a Data Engineering Consultant to join its Zurich office. You will advise clients on designing and implementing scalable cloud data platforms and AI solutions, translating business needs into robust data architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and design robust data architectures, pipelines, and platform components.
• Develop modern data pipelines using Databricks or Microsoft Fabric, and contribute to data & AI initiatives across cloud architecture, data engineering, data science, and generative AI.
• Communicate recommendations, insights, and results to senior stakeholders and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of proven data engineering experience, including data modelling (Data Vault, dimensional modelling) and hands‑on ETL/ELT development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
