Data Management Specialist (Maternity coverage)

About the role

As a Data Management Specialist at Julius Baer, you will support the bank’s strategic transformation by strengthening data governance, metadata management and critical data capabilities on a fixed‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to maintain and enhance critical data assets, metadata and business definitions.
• Establish and maintain metadata, data lineage and authoritative source information for key business data elements.
• Support regulatory and strategic initiatives that require identification, documentation and maintenance of critical data.
• Monitor adherence to data management standards and contribute to continuous improvement of governance processes.

Required profile

• University degree in science, business informatics, banking or finance.
• Understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Lifecycle Management principles with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of banking data domains and regulatory data requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across business and technology functions.
