Data Manager – Clinical Trials

About the role

You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical clinical trial data supporting life‑science advancements. Working at the intersection of data management, clinical research, and technology, you will manage the full lifecycle of clinical data systems in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee data management activities for clinical trials, guaranteeing data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with clinical project managers to align data processes with study requirements and timelines.
• Design, develop, validate, and maintain project‑specific clinical databases.
• Define and implement data transfer specifications with internal teams and external partners.
• Program, validate, and execute data exports using tools such as SQL and R.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of data transfers and reporting outputs.
• Support continuous improvement of data workflows, standards, and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical research standards and regulatory expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., biomedical science, biology, pharmaceuticals, medicine, bioinformatics) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in data management, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Affinity for IT systems and data‑driven workflows.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (CAP, CLIA, GCP, FDA guidelines) is a plus.
