Data Scientist – Regulatory Data Hub (Analytical Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong analytical and data‑engineering capabilities to join our Regulatory Data Hub initiative. You will help deliver trusted, standardised, and compliant regulatory data across the organisation, working at the intersection of data pipelines, analytics and emerging AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data transformation pipelines, including mapping logic and configuration.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to define and refine mapping requirements.
• Develop, test and optimise mapping functions for accuracy and performance.
• Design and implement quality‑control pipelines to validate data transformations.
• Partner with Data Analysts, Domain Leads and Governance teams to enhance data‑quality frameworks.
• Configure and optimise tools for data validation and monitoring.
• Provide guidance on integrating Machine Learning and Large Language Models into transformation workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience building and operating ETL or data‑transformation pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience deploying Machine Learning or LLMs in production.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and validation.
• Experience in regulated or data‑governed environments is a plus.
