DeltaV Automation Engineer

About the role

Join Lonza’s Automation Engineering Team in Visp to support high‑automated biologics facilities. You will ensure seamless operation of DeltaV and MES systems while contributing to GMP‑compliant activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute electrical MSR readiness projects within budget and timelines.
• Maintain flawless performance of DeltaV‑controlled facilities and associated MES systems.
• Manage GMP‑compliant testing, documentation, and change management using Kneat and Ubik.
• Update plant documentation in SAP/COMOS to meet regulatory standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in equipment and maintenance processes.

Required profile

• Equivalent experience in Electrical or System Engineering (university degree or vocational education).
• Proven experience in operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical or biotech plants.
• Familiarity with GMP standards and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
