Demand & Supply Planner (French)

About the role

Smith+Nephew is looking for a Demand & Supply Planner who will work closely with internal development, manufacturing teams and external suppliers to transfer products to manufacturing. The role focuses on improving and stabilising manufacturing processes to ensure capacity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, analyse and consolidate sales forecasts to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Load sales figures into the ERP system and dedicated tools for efficient data tracking and reporting.
• Review subcontractors' production planning and monitor progress against schedules to identify deviations.
• Plan and execute direct purchasing for production and R&D to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Participate in price and volume negotiations with suppliers and support invoice validation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) in supply chain, production or manufacturing related field.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing needs, preferably in medical device production.
• Experience with supply chain, production systems and manufacturing processes.
• Fluency in French and English; German is a plus.
