Development Engineer – Engine Technologies

About the role

We are looking for a Development Engineer to join our engine technology team in Bulle. You will work on the design, simulation and testing of diesel and gas engines, contributing to innovative solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyse new engine technologies and components.
• Perform 1‑D engine simulations using AMESim or GT‑Power.
• Post‑process measurement data with Matlab, Concerto and related tools.
• Create CAD models of components for prototyping and define mechanical concepts.
• Dimension components for engines and pumps and manage the system part list and suppliers.
• Present simulation and measurement results to internal stakeholders.
• Develop tools and models for data post‑treatment and document component‑modeling libraries.
• Test engines and complete power‑train assemblies, ensuring continuous optimisation and validation of models with measurement data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with combustion engines or related technologies.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
• Analytical, rigorous, proactive and able to work both independently and in a team.
