Device Technology Deployment Manager – Assembly & Packaging

About the role

Roche is seeking a Device Technology Deployment Manager to lead the end‑to‑end deployment of automated assembly and packaging technologies for medical devices. You will bridge development and commercial manufacturing, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment projects from concept through design, FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification and production implementation.
• Translate product and process requirements into equipment specifications and scalable manufacturing solutions.
• Evaluate new assembly, packaging and robotic technologies via feasibility studies and pilots.
• Provide technical leadership during equipment design reviews, risk assessments, and process validation.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers on selection, design development and performance management.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in medical device, drug‑device combination or regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.
• Proven ability to manage complex equipment projects from URS to production.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel up to 25% internationally.
