DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

The partner company seeks a DevOps Engineer based in Switzerland to design, automate and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for business‑critical applications. This fully remote position works with Microsoft Azure, IaC tools, CI/CD pipelines and identity‑access solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate highly available Azure cloud services (AKS, Function Apps, Data Factory, etc.).
• Develop automated provisioning and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Configure and manage identity and access management across Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and Okta.
• Maintain production, QA and development environments, monitor system health and resolve incidents.
• Create scripts, tools and AI‑powered automation for deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Document architecture, procedures and compliance with ISO 27001 controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud or infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Fluent English communication in an international environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure services (AKS, Log Analytics, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Storage, Synapse, Analysis Services, Data Factory, Databricks).
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Terragrunt.
• Identity providers: Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace Identity, Okta.
• Authentication protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, Auth0.
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Programming/scripting: Python.
• Knowledge of FinOps, AI automation concepts, Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access.
