About the role
MSF is seeking a Digital Acquisition Officer to develop and implement its digital acquisition strategy, generating new leads and donors through digital channels. The role combines strategic planning, campaign execution, and performance optimisation to support sustainable donor growth.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute digital acquisition strategies for regular giving, one‑off giving and lead generation.
- Lead end‑to‑end acquisition projects, coordinating internal stakeholders and external specialists.
- Design and manage lead‑generation offers, conversion journeys and email automation to nurture prospects.
- Develop and optimise paid‑media campaigns across platforms, balancing brand awareness and fundraising goals.
- Monitor, analyse and improve acquisition performance using audience insights and testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with fundraising and communication teams to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Communication, Fundraising or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience managing digital acquisition or fundraising campaigns and acquiring donors through digital channels.
- Experience coordinating multiple digital projects and working with external agencies.
- Native proficiency in French or Swiss German and fluent English (both written and spoken).
Required skills
- Knowledge of major paid‑media platforms (Google Ads, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Meta Advantage+, LinkedIn Ads).
- Understanding of supporter engagement, audience segmentation and conversion journeys.
- Familiarity with CRM and donor database principles.
- Knowledge of digital analytics, attribution models and campaign tracking.
- Experience with email marketing and marketing automation tools.
- Understanding of landing‑page optimisation and conversion‑rate optimisation (CRO).
What we offer
- Full‑time (40 h/week) open‑ended contract based in Geneva or Zurich.
- Ideal start date: 5 January 2027.
- Gross annual salary from CHF 87 372 to CHF 100 608, commensurate with experience.
- 25 days paid vacation per year plus Swiss public holidays.
- Pension contribution covered 3/4 by MSF, 1/4 by employee.
- Relocation support available for eligible candidates.
