Digital Process Design Engineer

About the role

As a Digital Process Design Engineer at Nestlé Product & Technology Center Nutrition & Health, you will develop, standardize and govern process engineering drawings and digital plant models to enable safe, efficient and reusable solutions for nutrition industrialization projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate process diagrams, equipment layouts and three‑dimensional plant models that turn engineering concepts into implementation‑ready designs.
• Standardize modular design components, drawing libraries and templates to improve quality, consistency and reuse across global projects.
• Review supplier drawings and digital models to identify clashes and strengthen safety, hygiene, operability, maintainability and accessibility.
• Deliver basic engineering solutions for defined process units, including layouts, equipment interfaces, utility needs and technical specifications.
• Manage engineering data and synchronized digital plant information so teams can find, trust and use current documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement in design workflows and standards while sharing practical drafting knowledge with engineers, factories and suppliers.

Required profile

• Strong two‑dimensional and three‑dimensional drafting capability for process plants, equipment layouts and engineering documentation.
• Experience applying computer‑aided design tools, ideally including AutoCAD, Plant 3D and Inventor.
• Knowledge of process equipment, piping, utilities, instrumentation and hygienic design to create safe and practical layouts.
• Proactive collaboration with engineers, factory partners and suppliers while managing engineering data, revisions and document standards.
• Good working‑level English communication skills.
