Director Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Asset Management to join an international infrastructure investment platform. The role works closely with CEOs, senior management, and investment professionals to drive operational performance and long‑term value creation across a diversified portfolio of infrastructure assets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with CEOs and senior teams to identify and deliver operational and commercial improvement initiatives.
• Support portfolio companies in developing and executing value‑creation plans throughout the ownership lifecycle.
• Lead or support projects in operational excellence, organisational effectiveness, commercial performance, CapEx deployment and OpEx optimisation.
• Provide hands‑on assistance during business transformation, organisational change and operational improvement phases.
• Collaborate with investment professionals to assess performance and uncover opportunities for long‑term value enhancement.
• Contribute to the development of the Asset Management function and broader operational value‑creation capability.

Required profile

• Right to work in Switzerland or EU citizenship.
• 12–20 years of relevant experience in operational leadership, business transformation or value creation within infrastructure or other asset‑intensive businesses.
• Proven track record delivering operational improvements in commercial excellence, operational excellence, organisational effectiveness, CapEx deployment, OpEx optimisation and business transformation, preferably in private‑equity‑backed environments.
• Strong experience partnering with CEOs, executive teams and Boards to influence decisions and achieve measurable outcomes.
• Infrastructure experience is desirable.
• Commercially minded, collaborative, hands‑on with the credibility to operate independently.
