Director, Clinical Data Transparency, EHDS

About the role

The Director leads Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine's European Health Data Space (EHDS) programme, shaping strategy, governance and implementation across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the EHDS strategy, operating model and roadmap, aligning regulatory requirements with business priorities.
• Lead integrated programme planning, milestones, outcomes and success measures across regulation monitoring, technology enablement and data cataloguing.
• Establish programme governance, manage risks, dependencies and resource allocation, and provide executive reporting.
• Navigate a complex stakeholder landscape, drive alignment, and ensure clear communication between leadership, work‑stream leads and technology teams.
• Oversee change management, training, readiness and transition to business‑as‑usual operations.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a scientific, technology, healthcare or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience leading large, complex, cross‑functional programmes in pharma, healthcare or technology.
• Proven ability to set programme direction, establish governance and deliver outcomes in a global matrix environment.

Required skills

• Formal project or programme management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe preferred).
• Working knowledge of EU regulatory environment, EHDS, GDPR and clinical trial transparency.
• Expertise in programme and portfolio management, risk and dependency management, resource planning and executive reporting.
