Director, Division of Programme Support

About the role

The International Trade Centre is seeking a senior leader to head its Division of Programme Support (DPS). Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director will oversee finance, human resources, information technology, procurement, logistics and other central services that enable ITC’s trade‑led development mandate.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the division’s work programme, ensuring timely delivery of finance, HR, IT and support services.
• Lead audit and oversight coordination and prepare reports for intergovernmental bodies such as the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budget Questions, the General Assembly and the WTO.
• Provide strategic advice on resource reallocation, policy development and change‑management initiatives across the organization.
• Manage staffing plans, recruitment, performance evaluation and gender‑balance objectives for the division.
• Ensure high‑quality standards for all outputs, develop administrative policies and drive business‑process improvements.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in business, public administration, finance, law, social sciences or related field; a first‑level degree plus two years relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in administration, finance, budgeting, human resources, logistics, supply‑chain or information technology.
