Director, Medical Affairs – Hemato-Oncology (Europe)

About the role

The Director of Medical Affairs for Hemato‑Oncology in Europe will serve as the internal expert for hematological malignancies, guiding product development, launch, and lifecycle management across the region. Reporting to the Executive Director Medical Affairs Europe, the role works within a matrix organization to ensure scientific credibility and strategic alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide matrix leadership for the hemato‑oncology disease area across Europe.
• Contribute proactively to regional and global brand and disease‑area strategies, including gap analyses and identification of ISR opportunities.
• Lead publication planning, regional data dissemination, and medical education activities such as symposia and congress submissions.
• Drive HCP outreach, including investigator meetings and advisory boards, to support safe and appropriate product use.
• Collaborate closely with regional commercial teams to ensure accurate medical input during pre‑launch, launch, and commercialization phases.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, research collaborators, and professional societies to support pipeline development.
