Director of Construction – Telecom Infrastructure

About the role

The Director of Construction leads a dedicated team responsible for building and installing wireless telecommunications infrastructure. This senior position ensures projects meet company and industry standards while driving performance, productivity, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction and installation operations, managing resources, equipment, materials, and vendors.
• Supervise managers who lead field, technical staff and third‑party contractors.
• Develop and monitor quarterly and annual budgets, approving expenditures and capital projects.
• Lead responses to RFPs and cultivate growth opportunities with clients and sales teams.
• Ensure all field personnel adhere to OSHA safety standards and industry regulations.
• Act as a technical resource across departments and contribute to the organization’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably within wireless telecommunications.
• Strong background in budget creation, financial monitoring, and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi‑disciplinary teams and third‑party contractors.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior management, clients, and vendors.

Required skills
