Director of Marketing and Communications

About the role

Franklin Switzerland is seeking a hands‑on leader to shape and execute its full‑funnel marketing and communications strategy. Reporting directly to the President and partnering with senior enrollment and advancement leaders, you will define the brand voice, drive demand generation, and nurture alumni and donor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own the entire marketing funnel—from brand awareness to enrollment and donor engagement.
• Develop and protect a distinctive Franklin brand across all audiences.
• Build and manage performance‑marketing infrastructure, including CRM, marketing automation, paid acquisition, lead nurturing, and conversion‑optimized web experiences.
• Lead a lean internal team while overseeing external agencies and specialist vendors.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with the Strategic Plan.

Required profile

• Proven experience running integrated brand and performance campaigns in higher‑education or a comparable sector.
• Demonstrated ability to balance storytelling with data‑driven acquisition.
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on execution style.
• Leadership experience building and guiding small, high‑performing teams.
