Director of Policy, Advocacy & Government Affairs – Switzerland

About the role

The Director will lead CSL's public affairs and government relations in Switzerland, providing strategic guidance to commercial and site leadership and ensuring alignment with corporate and external affairs priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic public‑affairs plan to support operations, commercial goals and patient access.
• Lead engagement with government officials, industry associations, patient advocacy groups and other key stakeholders.
• Represent CSL in industry committees and partner with internal functions such as Communications, Medical Affairs and Market Access.
• Provide senior leaders with business‑relevant policy updates and drive strategic site engagement at the political level.

Required profile

• Graduate or professional degree in law, public health, international relations, political science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare policy, public affairs or access, preferably in Switzerland.
• Strong network of relationships with government officials, policy makers, industry bodies and patient groups.
• Experience working in biologics, plasma or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.

Required skills

• Fluency in German and English (additional languages a plus).
• Strong analytical ability to assess policy risks and business impact.
• Excellent communication skills for concise briefing of senior leaders.
