Director of Sales Training, Europe (1‑year contract)

About the role

The Director of Sales Training will design and lead a Europe‑wide commercial training capability for Cytokinetics, supporting product launches and field‑based sales teams. This hybrid, full‑time position is based in Zug on a one‑year contract with possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own a multi‑year European Commercial Training & Capabilities strategy aligned with business objectives and launch rollouts.
• Design, author, and facilitate high‑impact curricula such as sales bootcamps, advanced negotiation, value‑based selling, and launch execution workshops.
• Co‑travel with Key Account Managers across key markets to coach, observe execution, and refine training materials.
• Create just‑in‑time toolkits, objection‑handling guides, and digital micro‑learning assets for immediate field needs.
• Measure training impact through metrics, dashboards, and ROI analysis, partnering with sales, marketing, market access, medical affairs and compliance.

Required profile

• BS/BA degree with 12+ years of experience, including 7+ years in pharma product launch and at least 5 years in sales training.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Proven ability to work within financial and budgetary constraints and navigate EFPIA and local drug promotion regulations.
