Director, Trust Services & Business Development

About the role

The Director, Trust Services & Business Development will lead the growth and delivery of high‑quality fiduciary and trust solutions for high‑net‑worth clients. Reporting to senior management, the role combines client relationship management, business development, and team leadership to drive the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, families, family offices, and professional advisers.
• Act as a trusted adviser on trust, fiduciary, succession, governance, and wealth‑structuring matters.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions.
• Oversee client onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
• Mentor and develop trust administration and support teams, fostering a collaborative, client‑focused culture.
• Assist in resource planning, recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Support day‑to‑day operations, contribute to strategy implementation, and ensure regulatory, AML/KYC, and governance compliance.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer, legal professional, or accountant (preferred).
• Significant experience in a trust company, fiduciary services provider, private client practice, family office, or wealth‑management environment.
• Strong knowledge of trust, fiduciary, corporate, and private‑client structures.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent English; French strongly preferred; additional languages an advantage.
