Director, Value Demonstration & Access Evidence Strategy (Hematology)
BeOne Medicines · Bâle
Job description
About the role
BeOne is looking for an experienced professional to design and implement global payer and HTA evidence strategies that support reimbursement, access and pricing outcomes across its portfolio. The Director, Value Demonstration & Access Evidence Strategy acts as a bridge between Clinical Development, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Global Value, Access & Pricing (GVAP), ensuring evidence requirements are built into development programmes early. The role is accountable for surfacing U.S. evidence needs early and reconciling them with ex-U.S. HTA requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement global HTA and payer evidence strategies across the product lifecycle, working with GVAP Asset Leads, regional and country access leads and HEOR.
- Evaluate evidence options and recommend risk-mitigation strategies that balance payer, access, pricing and development objectives.
- Embed access evidence requirements in Integrated Evidence Plans and give expert market access and HTA input to clinical development, including study design, endpoints, patient populations, PRO and real-world evidence.
- Serve as the standing point of contact for U.S. Value & Access, U.S. HEOR and U.S. Medical teams, documenting and prioritising U.S. payer, PBM, IDN and employer evidence needs and escalating conflicts with proposed resolutions.
- Develop asset-specific payer value demonstration plans and evidence generation activities such as cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, RWE studies, PRO studies and network meta-analyses.
- Monitor EU HTA Regulation, NICE, HAS, G-BA/IQWiG, AIFA, CADTH, ICER and other bodies, and translate their evolving requirements into evidence-generation strategies.
- Help build payer-focused value propositions, HTA dossiers, global value dossiers and pricing toolkits, and represent the organisation in scientific and methodological discussions.
Required profile
- MSc, MPH or equivalent advanced degree in health economics, epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, life sciences or health policy; PhD, PharmD or MD preferred, as is additional business or strategic leadership education.
- 8+ years of experience in market access, HEOR, value & access or evidence strategy.
- Demonstrated experience supporting HTA submissions, reimbursement negotiations, evidence planning and global launch preparation.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, cross-regional initiatives and to influence without direct authority in a matrixed, global organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of EU HTA/JCA, RWE methodologies, economic modelling and international payer decision-making.
- Ability to work with U.S. colleagues regularly, with overlap between U.S. Eastern and Central European time zones.
What we offer
- Salary range in Switzerland of 198,200 to 247,700 CHF.
- Role based in the Basel area, with 15% travel and regular scheduled engagement with U.S. colleagues.
