About the role
We are seeking a Director / VP of Sales to transform Besso’s early commercial momentum into a repeatable enterprise sales engine. This senior, hands‑on position will shape the ideal customer profile, open doors, build pipeline, lead complex enterprise conversations and close strategic customers for our AI‑powered trade regulation intelligence platform.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full revenue funnel: identify target accounts, build pipeline, qualify opportunities, lead evaluations and pilots, negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Develop and refine a focused Ideal Customer Profile across global food & beverage, FMCG, CPG and related sectors.
- Engage senior stakeholders in supply chain, procurement, trade compliance, finance, legal and executive leadership.
- Craft clear ROI cases demonstrating how Besso unlocks savings, reduces risk and improves supply‑chain decision‑making.
- Convert founder‑led sales into a structured, repeatable commercial motion.
- Collaborate closely with founders, product, regulatory and customer teams to win complex enterprise deals.
- Represent Besso at selected events, conferences and industry conversations to raise visibility and generate demand.
- Contribute to shaping Besso’s commercial strategy, pricing approach and sales materials.
Required profile
- Proven senior sales leadership experience, preferably in enterprise or B2B environments.
- Track record of building and scaling sales processes from scratch.
- Strong understanding of global supply chains, trade compliance and AI‑driven solutions.
- Ability to engage C‑level executives and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for developing playbooks and iterating quickly.
