Doctor of Occupational Therapy Faculty (Full‑time, Hybrid)

About the role

South College seeks an energetic and experienced OTD faculty member to join its developing hybrid Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at the Atlanta campus. The position is full‑time (12‑month) and offers a blend of remote teaching and on‑site lab immersions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned didactic and laboratory courses based on expertise and program needs.
• Develop and assess curriculum, student success plans, and clinical competencies.
• Coach and mentor students, fostering inclusive and collaborative learning environments.
• Participate in scheduled lab immersions and other on‑site events in Atlanta.
• Contribute to research and scholarly activities within higher education.

Required profile

• Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree, an academic doctorate in OT, or a related PhD/EdD/DSc.
• Active OT license (or eligibility) in Georgia.
• Minimum five years of full‑time post‑licensure clinical practice.
• Prior teaching experience in an ACOTE‑accredited OTD program.
• Understanding of higher‑education standards and contemporary clinical practice.
• Willingness to travel overnight or for extended periods to Atlanta.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
