EASA Part-66 Cat B1 Aircraft Engineer - Boeing

About the role

A maintenance organisation based at the hangar facilities of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is looking for a B1 EASA licensed aircraft engineer specialising in Boeing aircraft. The role involves acting as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 maintenance organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 maintenance organisation
• Perform routine and non-routine task cards and related operational tasks
• Carry out daily and weekly checks, and pre-flight and post-flight inspections
• Review and carry out the necessary actions to rectify flight problems
• Liaise with internal 145 MRO and PO Part 21 shops on all maintenance issues

Required profile

• 5 years of practical experience in base maintenance on Boeing aircraft
• EASA Part-66 Cat B1 licence with a B737, B747, B757, B767, B777 or B787 rating, including at least 3 years as certifying staff on the aircraft type
• Fluent English; corporate aviation experience is an advantage
• Ability to adapt to different environments, good communication skills and awareness of high standards of quality, reliability and safety

Required skills

• Advanced troubleshooting experience
• Part-66 Cat B1 certification
