EASA Part-66 Cat B1.1 Aircraft Engineer - Airbus

About the role

An owner-managed, young and dynamic company is looking for a B1 EASA licensed aircraft engineer for its AMAC 145 maintenance organisation, based in the hangar facilities at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. The position is multifaceted and challenging, and candidates must be willing to relocate to the Basel area.

Key responsibilities

• Act as certifying staff in the AMAC 145 maintenance organisation
• Perform routine and non-routine task cards and related operational tasks
• Carry out advanced troubleshooting
• Liaise with internal 145 MRO and PO Part 21 shops on all maintenance issues

Required profile

• 5 years of practical experience in base maintenance on Airbus types
• EASA Part-66 Cat B1.1 licence
• A320 family and/or A330/340/A350 rating with at least 3 years' experience as certifying staff on the aircraft type
• Fluent English; relocation to the Basel area required
• Experience in corporate aviation is an advantage
