EASA Part-66 Cat B2 Avionics Engineer (Airbus)

About the role

A hangar-based maintenance position at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg for an EASA Part-66 Cat B2 licensed avionics engineer working on Airbus aircraft. The role involves acting as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 maintenance organisation, performing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks and supporting customers during AOG situations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 maintenance organisation
• Perform routine and non-routine task cards and related operational tasks
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and rectify flight problems
• Record all work according to the appropriate manuals and regulations
• Liaise with internal 145 MRO and PO Part 21 shops on maintenance issues
• Travel away from base to support customers during AOG

Required profile

• 5 years of practical experience in base maintenance
• EASA Part-66 Cat B2 licence with 2-3 years' experience as Certifying Staff on Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321/A330/A340/A350, with at least 3 years on the specific aircraft type
• Advanced troubleshooting experience
• Fluent English
• Flexibility to work and adapt in different environments
