EASA Part-66 Cat B2 Avionics Engineer (Boeing)

About the role

A 145 maintenance organisation based at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is looking for an EASA Part-66 Cat B2 licensed avionics engineer specialising in Boeing aircraft. The role involves acting as certifying staff and performing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Act as certifying staff in the AMAC 145 maintenance organisation
• Perform routine and non-routine task cards and related operational tasks
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and rectify flight problems
• Record all work according to the appropriate manuals and regulations
• Liaise with internal 145 MRO and PO Part 21 shops on maintenance issues
• Travel away from the home base to support customers during AOG situations

Required profile

• 5 years of practical experience in base maintenance
• EASA Part-66 Cat B2 licence with 2-3 years' experience as Certifying Staff on Boeing aircraft (B737, B747, B757, B767, B777, B787), including at least 3 years on one aircraft type
• Fluent English
• Flexibility to work and adapt in different environments

Required skills

• Advanced troubleshooting experience
• Strong awareness of quality, reliability and safety standards
