About the role
agap2 is seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in hardware design to join its international development teams. You will work on the creation and validation of analog, digital, signal and power electronic circuits for energy and utilities projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop technical specifications, product ideas and solution concepts within international teams.
- Design and develop analog, digital, signal and power electronic circuits.
- Perform simulations, worst‑case analyses and FMEAs to optimise circuit designs.
- Evaluate, select and validate components against technical and product requirements.
- Conduct electrical, thermal and EMC measurements on prototypes and pre‑series products.
- Verify and validate prototypes, preparing verification and test documentation.
- Plan and coordinate qualification activities with internal and external laboratories.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation and test specifications to support series production.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics with experience bringing products to series production.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of power electronics, control and regulation technology.
- Experience with circuit development, simulation, testing and validation.
- Familiarity with EMC, thermal and electrical testing processes.
- Structured, solution‑oriented mindset and ability to work in an international environment.
- Fluent in English and German.
