Electrical Process & Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

Take on a new challenge as the Electrical Process & Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Alstom’s Villeneuve site. Reporting to the Site Process & Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of electrical industrialization experts and drive robust manufacturing processes for wiring harnesses, integration, crimping, shielding and grounding. Your leadership will support operational excellence and continuous improvement across the railway production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Electrical Process & Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Deploy electrical manufacturing standards, methods and industrialization processes.
• Ensure robustness of cabling, harness manufacturing, electrical integration and testing activities.
• Support production through technical expertise, problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Guarantee qualification and compliance of electrical special processes and associated documentation.
• Drive productivity, quality, safety and delivery performance using APSYS, QRQC and Lean methodologies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or Industrialization.
• Experience managing technical teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong ownership, accountability and results‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English; French and/or German an advantage.

Required skills

• Electrical manufacturing and wiring harness production.
• Crimping technologies, connectors, shielding and grounding techniques.
• Lean Manufacturing, QRQC and PFMEA methodologies.
• Industrial performance tools such as APSYS.
