EMEA Indirect Tax Senior Specialist

About the role

VF Corporation is seeking an experienced EMEA Indirect Tax Senior Specialist to join its Tax team in Stabio, Switzerland. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions while driving process optimisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate VAT return preparation and submission with external advisors, ensuring data accuracy and timely filing.
• Oversee VAT activities performed by shared service or BPO teams, including reconciliations and payments.
• Review monthly VAT reconciliations, identify discrepancies and maintain a robust audit trail.
• Support tax accounting during month‑end and year‑end closes, preparing data and performing analysis.
• Monitor compliance risks, document procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Controllership, AP/AR and other cross‑functional teams to streamline end‑to‑end VAT processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Tax.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in VAT, accounting or financial reporting, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, meticulous and reliable work approach.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using SAP.
