European Patent Attorney

About the role
The European Patent Attorney will join I·C·B Ingénieurs Conseils en Brevets SA, the patent arm of The Swatch Group, to provide comprehensive intellectual property support for the Group’s 16 watch brands and related businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver IP services to all companies within the Swatch Group.
- Protect innovations across the Group’s diverse product lines.
- Draft, file and prosecute patent applications in multiple jurisdictions worldwide.
- Conduct oppositions, infringement risk analyses and validity assessments.
- Negotiate licence agreements and enforce patent rights.
Required profile
- Qualified to practice before the European Patent Office.
- Academic background in mechanical engineering, physics or micro‑technical fields.
- 7–10 years of experience in patent prosecution or related IP functions.
- Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
