Executive Director, Product, Data and AI Enablement

About the role

Bristol Myers Squibb is hiring an Executive Director, Product, Data and AI Enablement for Global Development Operations (GDO), a senior leadership position within the Transformation & Innovation function. Reporting to the Vice President, Transformation & Innovation, GDO, the role translates the GDO strategy into integrated AI-first product development, data and analytics capabilities. It leads a globally distributed team of product developers and analysts across the US, Europe and Hyderabad, India, and acts as a bridge between strategy and execution in a highly matrixed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap and value realization across GDO verticals, including clinical trial analytics, and set standards and decision-support capabilities
• Lead the identification, prioritization and lifecycle management of Agentic AI and advanced analytics use cases, and steward a responsible AI governance framework
• Own the data and product innovation agenda, turning business needs and user insights into scalable digital products and services
• Lead the global pool of product developers and analysts and set AI-first delivery standards, capacity and capability-building priorities
• Partner with the VP, Transformation & Innovation, and influence senior leaders across GDO LOB, Data & Digital, IT and external partners
• Engage externally with emerging technologies, analytics methods, AI applications, digital platforms, partnerships and vendors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Digital, Pharmacy or Business preferred, or equivalent combination
• 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including leading global product, data or analytics organizations
• Proven track record of leading globally distributed teams (US, Europe, India) and of building and scaling product-oriented organizations
• Strong executive presence, stakeholder management and communication skills with executive audiences
