Executive Housekeeper - Private Chalet & Apartment, Gstaad

About the role

A private family is looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeper to look after two properties in Gstaad: one private chalet and one apartment. The family spends part of the year at the homes, so the housekeeper must keep them maintained and ready all year round. The position is live-out only, full-time, and the start date could be November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain both properties throughout the year, whether the family is present or away.
• Carry out all general housekeeping duties to a very high standard.
• Manage laundry, ironing and care of household linens and garments.
• Keep both properties clean, organised and fully prepared for the family's arrival.
• Manage household stocks and supplies.
• Liaise with local suppliers, contractors and service providers.
• Proactively identify and report maintenance or household issues.
• Assist with light household cooking when required; strong cooking ability is an advantage.

Required profile

• Strong previous experience as a Housekeeper or Executive Housekeeper in a private chalet or UHNW household.
• Comfortable working independently and taking full responsibility for the properties.
• Discreet, reliable, proactive and highly organised.
• Fluent French or English preferred; German is a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of the Gstaad area would be beneficial.
• Must be live-out and preferably based in the Gstaad/Saanenland area; a driving licence is a strong asset.
