Experienced Fund Controller (m/f/d) – 100% Position

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Controller to lead financial oversight for a diverse portfolio of investment vehicles. You will act as a key business partner, ensuring timely delivery of financial information, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee fund and investment vehicle accounting, reporting, and financial control activities.
• Review periodic NAV calculations, reconciliations, financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate external service providers, ensuring adherence to deliverables and timelines.
• Monitor capital activity, cash management, forecasting and investor‑related transactions.
• Support audits and serve as primary contact for external auditors and professional service providers.
• Collaborate with investment, legal, compliance, tax and operations teams.
• Participate in the setup and launch of new investment structures.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, reporting processes and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis and ad‑hoc reporting for management.
• Contribute to systems, automation and process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Several years of experience in fund accounting, fund controlling, financial reporting, audit or alternative investments.
• Strong understanding of investment structures and financial reporting environments.
• Experience working with external administrators, auditors and professional service providers.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP or comparable accounting frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Hands‑on, proactive, solution‑oriented personality with strong stakeholder management.
